Choyini is spoken by many countries, as such, it can get muddled a bit in pronunciation and some words might be completely different.

Trade ChoyiniEdit

Trade Choyini is the most used form of Choyini, it is what is used in for trade, and is mostly spoken in the middle of the Choyini speaking region and the southern islands.

Trade Choyini is generally just called Choyini and is seen as the official form of Choyini.

The western half of Thenuwa speaks Trade Choyini. The eastern half speaks Soft Choyini.

Hard ChoyiniEdit

In the west of the Choyini speaking region, the sounds are significantly harsher.

The Ch turns into a hoarse throat rattle in the near west, and turns into a plain K in the far west. The H is no longer pronounced, starting the vowels instantly as a result.

In the near west, the S stays the same, but in the far west, it becomes a Z. While in both parts the sh turns into a zh.

Th turns into a T, the L, W, Y and vowel sounds stay the same.

Example:Edit

Trade Choyini: Na hothu sutheno chashu shali she (Ill give you a wife)

Hard Choyini: Na otu zuteno kazhu zhali zhe

Soft ChoyiniEdit

In the east of the Choyini speaking region, the sounds are mostly softer.

The Ch starts to approach an H said as if sighing, the actual H stays the same. The S is pronounced as a soft sh, while the Sh is pronounced as an S with an H sound behind it.

The Th becomes a simple F while the L becomes an R, pronounced so that the tongue hits the palate exactly once. The W and Y stay unchanged.

Example:Edit

Trade Choyini: Na hothu sutheno chashu shali she (Ill give you a wife)

Soft Choyini: Na hofu shufeno hasu sari se
